NOTE: 1. This position has been designated as KN EMERGENCY-ESSENTIAL (MISSION ESSENTIAL). KN EE (ME) Position Agreement Form (USFK Form 200EK) must be signed prior to appointment of the selectee for this position. 2. Relocation Allowance will NOT be authorized for the selectee from outside the commuting area. 3. For Area II applicants: Selectee for this position may be eligible for relocation allowance if applicable and all requirements in paragraph 8-13 (Relocation Allowance) of USFK regulation 690-1 are met. Under the Yongsan Relocation Plan (YRP), individual moves of the selectee from Area II to other Areas will be authorized by the YRP moving services processes as stipulated in Civilian Human Resources Transformation Guidance.

MAJOR DUTIES: 1. Performs repair and maintenance work on chassis group units of one or more types of vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, gasoline or multi-fuel. Types include those in commercial, industrial or tactical use such as passenger cars and trucks, forklift trucks and warehouse tractors, 1/4-ton jeeps and six-wheel drive vehicles with automatic transmissions. Participates in disassembly, reconditioning and replacement of parts and assemblies on engines, power transmission, suspensions, steering and braking systems and related electrical, fuel, wheel and engine assemblies. 2. Works alone or with aid of helper on less complex repair tasks, such as removing and installing radiators, fuel tanks, cleaning carburetors and distributors, making idling adjustments, replacing generators and spark plugs. Consults with higher grade workers on unusual problems. Performs other duties as assigned.
주업무: 휘발유나 다른 연료를 사용하는 내연기관에 의거 움직이는 하나 혹은 그 이상의 종류의 차량의 차대그룹에 대하여 수리와 정비업무를 수행합니다. 차량종류라 함은 승용차와 트럭, 지게차 및 견인차, ¼톤 지이프차 및 6륜 동력 차량과 같은 민간용, 산업용 및 군사용 차량을 말합니다. 엔진, 동력트랜스밋숀, 차대받이장치, 핸들 및 브레이크 장치와 연관된 전기, 연료, 바퀴 및 엔진 조립품에 대한 부품 및 조립품의 분해, 수리 및 교체를 실시합니다. 덜 복잡한 수리를 할 때는 혼자 하거나 조수의 도움을 받아서 합니다. 예를 들면 라지에타나 연료탱크를 떼어내고 설치하고, 카브레타나 디스트리뷰타를 세척하고 공전을 조정하고 스파크프라그를 교체하는 것 등입니다. 특별한 문제점에 대해서는 상급자와 의논합니다. 기타 부여된 업무를 수행합니다.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works inside in a well-lighted and heated area; however, continually works on concrete floors and work is dirty, greasy and noisy. Subject to cuts, bruises, shocks, burns and mashed fingers. Work requires moderate to arduous physical effort.
작업조건: 조명과 난방이 잘된 옥내에서 작업하나, 계속 콘크리트 바닥에서 일하며, 작업장은 더럽고, 기름이 묻어 있고 시끄럽습니다. 절상, 타박상, 감전, 화상 및 손가락의 부상을 입기 쉽습니다. 작업은 육체적으로 힘이 듭니다.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: One year of general experience plus one year of specialized experience.
경력: 1년 이상의 일반경력과 1년 이상의 전문경력이 필요합니다.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Actual work experience as a trainee, helper or other work related to the trade or craft for which being considered.
일반경력: 상기의 직종 또는 그 유사한 분야에서 조수나 보조원으로 일한 실질적인 경력을 말합니다.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience at the "Junior" or higher level in the work related to trade or craft for which being considered.
전문경력: 상기의 직종 또는 그 유사한 분야에서 견습공 또는 숙련공으로 일한 경력을 말합니다.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1. Graduation from technical high school in a field related to the job for which being considered, successful completion of a formal training course (at least 90 days duration) in a recognized trade school in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered, or possession of a valid license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as craftsman in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of general experience required. 2. Graduation from technical junior college in the field to the job for which being considered or possession of a license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as an industrial engineer in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of specialized experience required.
자격대체: 1. 기술고등학교에서 관련 직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 공인 직업 훈련원에서 해당 직종 과정을 90일 이상 수료한 자, 또는 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종 자격증을 소지한 자는 필요한 경력 중에서 일반경력 1년을 대체합니다. 2. 전문대학에서 관련직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종의 산업기사 자격증을 소지한 자는 전문경력 1년을 대체합니다.
