NOTE:  1. This position has been designated as KN EMERGENCY-ESSENTIAL (MISSION ESSENTIAL).  KN EE (ME) Position Agreement Form (USFK Form 200EK) must be signed prior to appointment of the selectee for this position.  2. Relocation Allowance will NOT be authorized for the selectee from outside the commuting area.  3. For Area II applicants: Selectee for this position may be eligible for relocation allowance if applicable and all requirements in paragraph 8-13 (Relocation Allowance) of USFK regulation 690-1 are met. Under the Yongsan Relocation Plan (YRP), individual moves of the selectee from Area II to other Areas will be authorized by the YRP moving services processes as stipulated in Civilian Human Resources Transformation Guidance.

MAJOR DUTIES:  Performs the following typical tasks independently or in a group: selects and attaches proper lifting and grappling equipment (rigs) and directs the lifting and moving of loads; estimates weight of load to be moved and determines method best suited, employing a knowledge of roping and rigging shears, blocks, pulleys, booms, running and splicing of hemp or steel cables and ropes. Attaches load securely with loops, wires, ropes or chains; hangs slug in crane hook. Directs crane operator with hand signals in the hoisting and moving of loads to ensure safety of material handled and workmen involved. Sets up braces and rigs hoisting equipment. Splices rope and wire cable to make and repair slings and tackles. Performs other duties as assigned.

개별 또는 단체로 다음의 업무를 수행합니다: 드는 장비와 거는 장비를 알맞게 고르고 갖다 붙여 짐을 들고 나릅니다. 이동될 짐의 무게를 가늠하고 줄매기와 삭구하는 절단기, 블록, 플리, , 작동중이거나 접합된 헴프 또는 강철 케이블  밧줄에 대한 지식을 가지고 가장 적합한 방법을 결정합니다. 철사, 밧줄, 또는 사슬로 안전하게 적재합니다. 기중기 걸이에 있는 슬러그를 겁니다. 짐을 게양하고 움직일 때는 취급되는 물자와 연관된 노동자의 안전을 지키기 위하여 수신호로 기중기 기사에게 지시합니다. 장비를 게양하는 버팀대와 의장을 설치합니다. 짐을 매다는 밧줄과 도르래 장치를 만들고 고치기 위하여 밧줄과 전선을 잇습니다. 기타 부여된 업무를 수행합니다.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  Primarily outside; danger of cable breaking and falling objects.

주로 외부에서 작업하며, 케이블이 끓어져 물체가 떨어질 위험이 있습니다.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

EXPERIENCE:  One year of general experience plus one year of specialized experience.
경력:  1 이상의 일반경력과 1 이상의 전문경력이 필요합니다.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:  Actual work experience as a trainee, helper or other work related to the trade or craft for which being considered.
일반경력:  상기의 직종 또는  유사한 분야에서 조수나 보조원으로 일한 실질적인 경력을 말합니다.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:  Experience at the "Junior" or higher level in the work related to trade or craft for which being considered.
전문경력:  상기의 직종 또는  유사한 분야에서 견습공 또는 숙련공으로 일한 경력을 말합니다.

 

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE:  1.  Graduation from technical high school in a field related to the job for which being considered, successful completion of a formal training course (at least 90 days duration) in a recognized trade school in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered, or possession of a valid license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as craftsman in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of general experience required.  2.  Graduation from technical junior college in the field to the job for which being considered or possession of a license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as an industrial engineer in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of specialized experience required.
자격대체:  1.  기술고등학교에서 관련 직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 공인 직업 훈련원에서 해당 직종 과정을 90 이상 수료한 , 또는 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종 자격증을 소지한 자는 필요한 경력 중에서 일반경력 1년을 대체합니다.  2.  전문대학에서 관련직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종의 산업기사 자격증을 소지한 자는 전문경력 1년을 대체합니다
