NOTE:  This position has been designated as KN EMERGENCY-ESSENTIAL (MISSION ESSENTIAL).  KN EE (ME) Position Agreement Form (USFK Form 200EK) must be signed prior to appointment of the selectee for this position.

MAJOR DUTIES:  Performs work involved in the fabrication, modification, repair and replacement of metal body parts and other related items such as fenders, hoods, grills, cabs, bodies, bumpers and frames for mobile equipment. Plans and lays out work from sketches, work orders and other specifications. Makes determinations as to the extent of repair or if rebuilding is necessary; selects materials required such as proper size or gauge of sheet metal, welding rods, fluxes. Measures, marks, cuts and forms articles from iron or other sheet metal stock as required; makes repairs by hammering, bending, sanding and spreading metal parts; welds, burns, brazes, drills, heats and finishes damaged body components using such tools as electric or oxyacetylene welding equipment, drilling, burring machines, bending irons, mallets, sanders and hammers. Assembles and fastens repaired and/or fabricated parts by installing bolts, rivets, screws and/or seaming, soldering and spot welding. Performs other duties as assigned.
주업무:  자동장비에 대한 펜더, 보닛, 그릴, 캡, 차제, 범퍼 및 프레임과 같은 금속 차체 부분 및 기타 관련된 품목의 조립, 변경, 수리 및 교체를 포함한 업무를 수행합니다. 재생이 필요할 시 수리의 범위에 대한 결정을 합니다. 얇은 금속판, 용접봉, 플럭스의 적당한 크기나 두께와 같은 필요한 물자를 선택합니다. 필요 시 철이나 기타 얇은 금속판을 재고, 표시하고, 절단해서 품목을 만듭니다. 금속부분을 망치로 두드리고, 구부리고, 샌딩하고, 금속부분을 펴서 수리를 실시합니다. 전기나 산소 아셀틸린 용접장비, 천공기, 거친 면을 깎아 다듬는 기계, 벤딩 아이언, 망치, 샌더 및 해머와 같은 공구를 사용하여 용접하고, 불에 달구어 굳히고, 땜질하고, 구멍을 뚫고, 열을 가하여 손상을 입은 차체 구성품을 고쳐 완성합니다. 기타 부여된 업무를 수행합니다.

 

WORKING CONDITION:  Constant exposure to dirt, grease, odors, smoke and fumes with requirement for protective clothing such as welding masks and gloves. Work is usually performed on concrete floors or as required on or in equipment being repaired. Subject to burns and eye injury when welding metal surfaces. Danger from electric shock, infrared and ultraviolet rays and fumes.
작업조건:  용접마스크 및 장갑과 같은 보호의가 필요하므로 계속적으로 불결물, 그리이스, 냄새, 연기 및 배기가스에 노출되어 있습니다. 금속표면을 용접할 때 화상이나 눈의 부상을 입기 쉽습니다. 감전의 위험이 있으며, 적외선과 자외선 및 배기가스에 노출될 위험이 있습니다.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

 

EXPERIENCE:  One year of general experience plus one year of specialized experience.
경력:  1년 이상의 일반경력과 1년 이상의 전문경력이 필요합니다.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:  Actual work experience as a trainee, helper or other work related to the trade or craft for which being considered.
일반경력:  상기의 직종 또는 그 유사한 분야에서 조수나 보조원으로 일한 실질적인 경력을 말합니다.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:  Experience at the "Junior" or higher level in the work related to trade or craft for which being considered.
전문경력:  상기의 직종 또는 그 유사한 분야에서 견습공 또는 숙련공으로 일한 경력을 말합니다.

 

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE:  1.  Graduation from technical high school in a field related to the job for which being considered, successful completion of a formal training course (at least 90 days duration) in a recognized trade school in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered, or possession of a valid license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as craftsman in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of general experience required.  2.  Graduation from technical junior college in the field to the job for which being considered or possession of a license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as an industrial engineer in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of specialized experience required.
자격대체:  1.  기술고등학교에서 관련 직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 공인 직업 훈련원에서 해당 직종 과정을 90일 이상 수료한 자, 또는 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종 자격증을 소지한 자는 필요한 경력 중에서 일반경력 1년을 대체합니다.  2.  전문대학에서 관련직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종의 산업기사 자격증을 소지한 자는 전문경력 1년을 대체합니다.
