NOTE: 1. This position has been designated as KN EMERGENCY-ESSENTIAL (MISSION ESSENTIAL). MAJOR DUTIES: Typical equipment repaired includes auxiliary power generating sets; motor generators designed to convert standard input voltages to operate aircraft power systems in flight line electrical work; heavy duty air compressors; gas turbine compressors used to start aircraft jet engines; air conditioners; hydraulic test stands; ground heaters; munitions loading equipment to include repair of bomb lift clutches, differentials and transmissions; maintenance and operation of deicer truck; and various types of diesel and gasoline engines used to power such equipment. Characteristic of these positions is individual responsibility for ascertaining the reason for operating malfunctions and accomplishing necessary repairs to electrical and power systems; thorough knowledge of gasoline, diesel and gas turbine engine field maintenance; and a thorough knowledge of AC and DC motor/generator repairs, electric circuitry, and controls involved in converting AC to DC, DC to AC, or AC of one frequency to AC of another frequency. In some work situations, positions allocable to this class direct the work of lower grade employees in accomplishing the less difficult phases of repair. Performs other duties as assigned.
주업무: 수리하는 대표적인 장비는 아래와 같습니다. 비행장에 있는 항공기 동력시스템을 작동하기 위하여 표준 입력 전압을 변경시키도록 설계된 발전기, 대형 공기 압축기, 항공기 제트엔진의 시동을 거는데 사용되는 가스 터빈 압축기, 공기 조절 장치, 수압 시험대, 그라운드 히터, 범립트를 포함한 탄약 적재 장비, 차동장치 및 변속장치, 제빙트럭의 정비 및 운용 그리고 이들 동력 장비에 사용되는 각종 디젤 및 가솔린 엔진 등입니다. 이들 직위의 특징은 고장 난 부분의 이유를 확인하고, 전기 및 동력 시스템에 대한 필요한 수리를 독자적으로 책임을 지고 실시 하며, 가솔린, 디젤 및 가스 터빈엔진의 야전 정비에 대한 완전한 지식, 또는 교류 및 직류 모터 및 발전기의 수리, 전기회로 또는 교류를 직류로, 직류를 교류로 혹은 한 사이클의 교류를 다른 사이클의 교류로 변경시키는 데 포함된 조종장치에 대한 완전한 지식 등이 필요합니다. 어떤 업무 상황에서는 이 직위에 있는 사람은 간단한 수리업무를 수행 시에 하급 종업원들에게 업무를 지시 합니다. 기타 부여된 업무를 수행합니다.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works inside in a well-lighted and heated area, however, continually works on concrete floors and work is dirty, greasy and noisy. Subject to cuts, bruises, shocks, burns and mashed fingers. Work requires moderate to arduous physical effort.
작업조건: 조명과 난방이 잘된 옥내에서 작업하나 계속 콘크리트 바닥에서 일하며, 작업장은 더럽고, 기름이 묻어있고 시끄럽습니다. 절상, 타박상, 감전, 화상 및 손가락의 부상을 입기 쉽고 작업은 육체적으로 힘이 듭니다.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: One year of general experience plus one year of specialized experience.
경력: 1년 이상의 일반경력과 1년 이상의 전문경력이 필요합니다.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Actual work experience as a trainee, helper or other work related to the trade or craft for which being considered.
일반경력: 상기의 직종 또는 그 유사한 분야에서 조수나 보조원으로 일한 실질적인 경력을 말합니다.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience at the "Junior" or higher level in the work related to trade or craft for which being considered.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1. Graduation from technical high school in a field related to the job for which being considered, successful completion of a formal training course (at least 90 days duration) in a recognized trade school in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered, or possession of a valid license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as craftsman in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of general experience required. 2. Graduation from technical junior college in the field to the job for which being considered or possession of a license or certificate of competency issued by the ROKG attesting to proficiency as an industrial engineer in the trade or craft of the job for which being considered may be substituted for 1 year of specialized experience required.
자격대체: 1. 기술고등학교에서 관련 직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 공인 직업 훈련원에서 해당 직종 과정을 90일 이상 수료한 자, 또는 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종 자격증을 소지한 자는 필요한 경력 중에서 일반경력 1년을 대체합니다. 2. 전문대학에서 관련직종의 학과를 졸업하였거나 한국정부에서 발행한 해당 직종의 산업기사 자격증을 소지한 자는 전문경력 1년을 대체합니다.
